Detailed Itinerary :
Day 1 : Transfer to your Hotel in Casablanca.
You will meet our Guide/Driver at the airport , transfer to your Hotel
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat
After Breakfast you will meet the guide/driver. You will be visiting the Hassan ll Mosque, which was completed in 1993 and is one of the largest mosques in the world. Continue on to the city of Rabat the capitol of Morocco. Rabat is located on the Atlantic coastline at the mouth of the river Bou Regreg, opposite the twin city of Sale. The first stop will be at the Kasbah Oudayas. Next on the agenda is the fascinating site of the Hassan Tower dating back to 1185. The minaret rises up to 44 meters, and was believed that it would reach 88 meters. However in 1755 it was largely destroyed by an earthquake. Opposite the Hassan Tower is the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a monument of modern Morocco. This amazing white architecture capped by a green (the color of Islam) pyramid shaped roof is the final resting place of the King and his two sons. Following the tour of the mausoleum you will visit the Chellah Kasbah, which is the site of an ancient Roman city and necropolis. This site was abandoned in 1154 AD. In 1339 Sultan Abu 1-Hasan built monuments, main gate, mosque and tombs. Which is where he was eventually laid to rest. This site has since become a tourist venue and hosts the international “Festival of Jazz” each year.
Day 3: Rabat – Meknes – Fez
After breakfast, leaving Rabat you will head to Meknes to visit the main attractions such as the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail the founder of the city and Lahdim Square. Moulay Ismail was the most notorious Sultan of all. From here you will continue to the ancient ruins of Volubilis, which is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage site. After the tour of Volubilis you will be off to Fez where you will unwind for the evening.
Day 4: Exploring Fez
Today you will explore Fez, the oldest and largest medieval city in the world. A local licensed historical guide will accompany you as you discover each of the two old Medinas, the largest which is Fes El Bali. In 1981 it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fes El Jedid, the old city, which was built by Merinids. The former has so many fascinating historical sites such as: Al Qarawiyin, which dates back to 859 AD, and is the oldest continuous functioning madrasa (Old School) in the world. The Ancient Tanneries where you can witness the tanners incredible labor of making Babouches (Moroccan Slippers) as well as wallets, handbags and a host of leather goods. You will have the opportunity to stroll throughout the Souks (Old Markets) in the
Old city of Fez.
Day 5 : Fes (Free Day)
Day 6: Fez – Midelt – Merzouga
Today’s adventure will begin with a drive to Merzouga. You will pass through the city of Ifrane, which is considered the coldest place in Morocco. Ifrane is also known as the Switzerland of Morocco because of the housing architecture and snowfall. Continue your journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the Cedar forest in Azrou, which is 3940 feet in elevation. Here you will have the opportunity to feed the endangered Barbary (Macaque) Monkeys. You will then continue to travel the scenic roads through the Atlas Mountains, stopping for lunch and heading to Ziz the valley of palm groves. Continuing to Merzouga, here you will meet your next mode of transportation, a camel. You will ride your camel for approximately an hour and a half, to the tent in the Berber Camp situated in the dunes. Here you will experience the life of a nomad, eat the food and enjoy the sound of Berber music. The tents are equipped with comfortable beds, blankets and pillows. Enjoy the picturesque sunset, peacefulness, and abundant stars.
Day 7 : Exploring Merzouga and the area
After having your breakfast, you will be discovering the area of Mezouga , you will visit the highest sand dune in the area that reaches to 170 m high , then drive to the village Khamlia where you can enjoy the Gnawa music played with black people .then visit the lake if there will be water and see the flamingos birds. Then check in to your accommodation preparing for the camel ride that takes 1h 30 mints .You will enjoy Sahara Desert tour and Camel trek
Day 8: Merzouga – Rissani – Boumaln Dades
Early this morning your journey will begin with a breathtaking sunrise in the desert. The sun rises just behind the Algerian border approximately 50 km (31.1 miles) from Merzouga. When the sun makes its glorious entrance for the day you will hop back on the camel and ride back to the hotel, where you have breakfast. After breakfast you will head towards the gorges, stopping off in Rissani, here you will see the historic monument of Sijilmasa. The ruins of Sijilmassa are recognized by the Would Monument Fund as an endangered site. However the Moroccan Ministry of Culture preserve what remains. Along the way you will visit many Kasbahs, large souk, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, He was considered the founder of the Alaouite Dynasty of Morocco. The drive continues through the High Atas Mountains to the Ziz Valley and a walk through the extraordinary Todgha Gorge. The rock formations are an invitation for the adventurous rock climbers. Then Check in to your Hotel in Boumaln Dades.
Day 9 : Boumaln Dades – Boutaghrar Caves – Ouarzazat
After breakfast , you will drive to Monkeys toes formation mountains in Dades Valley, then take off road to meet and drink tea with nomads who still live in caves , we continue to the city of Kelaat M gouna where there is the valley . After lunch we continue to Skoura, visiting the Kasbah that is printed in the 50 Moroccan Dirham: Amridil Kasbah , we head then to the city of Ouarzazat (Hollywood of Morocco) famous with its cinema studios . Day 10: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Following breakfast, you will head to the city of Ouarzazate which is known as the Hollywood of Morocco because of the Cinema Studios. Many famous movies were filmed here such as Cleopatra, Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator, Kundun & Game of Thrones. From here you will drive to the most famous Kasbah in Morocco, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. The fortified village and Kasbah is situated in the hills along the Ounila River. Ait Ben Haddou has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Many films have been produced in the Kasbah including: The Message, The Mummy, Alexander and Babel. After the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah tour, you will have lunch while viewing the panoramic backdrop. After lunch the journey continues through the High Atlas Mountains where the altitude reaches 2260 M in Tichka Pass. After a long day you will reach Marrakech to put your feet up for the evening.
Day 11 : Exploring Marrakech
After breakfast you will explore the city of Marrakech. The name Marrakech originates from the Amazigh (Berber) words MUR (n) AKUSH which means “Land of God”. Marrakech lies at the foothills of the breathtaking Atlas Mountains. You will visit some of the most fascinating sites of Marrakech, starting with the Tombs of Saadians, Palais Bahia, Garden Majorelle, the Kotoubia Mosque, and ending the day in the square of Jamaa Lafna and the Souks. The square of Jamaa Lafna is overflowing with shops, crafts, entertainment and a host of restaurants.
Day 12: Marrakech – Essaouira
Today you will take a full-day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech and spend time in the laid-back fishing town. Leaving Marrakech at 08:00, you will be transported through the vast and breathtaking Moroccan landscape, peppered with a few scattered villages, some camels, sheep, and goats grazing in the countryside.
Enter the charming blue and white town of Essaouira to explore its artistic wonders at leisure. Stroll along the quays and watch the fishermen unloading their catch of the day, and the brightly-painted fishing boats coming back to shore. Or enjoy the many fine restaurants at the port, and dine on freshly caught fish and seafood.
Drive back to Marrakech. Accommodation at a Riad or Hotel.
Day 13 : Essaouira (Free Day )
Day 14: Essaouira – Marrakech
After having your lunch , we will depart to Marrakch
