5 DAYS TOUR FROM FES TO MARRAKECH

DAY 1 : TOUR  FEZ / MIDDLE ATLAS / IFRAN / CEDAR FOREST / MIDELT:

Our desert tour will begin with exploring the green mountains of the Middle Atlas and visiting Ifran or Moroccan Switzerland. Then we will continue our road to Midelt via the cedar forest where you will have the chance to feed the Barbary Apes in their natural habitat. We then continue our route towards Midelt, the city located between the two mountain ranges of the Atlas and famous for its apple farms. The night will be in a hotel/riad in Midelt.

DAY 2 : MIDELT / ZIZ VALLEY / ERFOUD / RISSANI / MERZOUGA DESERT:

The desert road will begin with a stop to take pictures of the magnificent Ziz Valley and its oasis located between the High Atlas Mountains. We continue to Merzouga through the spectacular stony desert and the palm groves of Erfoud (capital of fossils) and Rissani, famous for its largest market in the south. In the afternoon, we will arrive at the desert of Merzouga where you will be ready and accompanied by a camel guide to live an authentic camel trekking experience of about 90 minutes, where you can admire the sunset at heart of the dunes of Erg Chebbi and spend Millions of shining stars, enjoy a Berber dinner, a tambourine evening and sleep in a luxury traditional nomadic tent.

DAY 3 : EXPLORING THE REGIONS OF THE SAHARA DESERT:

Once you get up early to watch the sunrise, you will take your camels back to your hotel to have a shower and have breakfast. We then take our 4 × 4 to get around the mystical dunes of Erg Chebbi and we stop for tea with a nomadic desert family and get acquainted with their way of life. Then continue to visit Khamlia, a small village inhabited by blacks to listen to their traditional Gnawa music, then another visit to Rissani to market in its traditional souk, visit some casbahs and ksour in the region and have lunch in the town. Afternoon free in the desert and overnight in our hotel.

DAY 4 : MERZOUGA / RISSANI / ERFOUD / TODRA GOARGES / DADES GORGES :

After breakfast, we will drive to the Todra Gorge through the spectacular stone desert, the palms of Rissani known for its largest market in the south and Erfoud (capital of fossils). The next destination is Tinghir and the lush valley of Todra where you will hike along the narrow and high cliffs of Todra. You will also explore the amazing landscapes of the Dades Valley, known by the valley of the thousand Kasbahs with its unusual rock formations. Night in the Dades Gorge in a hotel.

DAY 5 : DADES GORGES / ROSE VALLEY / OUARZAZATE / AIT BENHADDOU / MARRAKECH :

After breakfast, we go to the Rose Valley and continue our journey to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou. Located on a hill on the banks of the Ouarzazate River, this fine example of South Moroccan architecture has been used as a backdrop for more than 20 famous films, including Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones, The Mom and Gladiator. Then, we will leave the authentic southern Morocco to go to Marrakech by borrowing the highest pass of Africa, Tizi N ‘Tichka (altitude 2260 m), while enjoying the superb views of the giant mountains of the High Atlas and villages panoramic berbers. Return to your accommodation in Marrakech at 17:00.
